Description Parkway is one of the best Norway Maples for city use because of its pyramidal to oval shape, well behaved branching and strong central leader. It was selected by J. Frank Schmidt, Jr. as a faster growing and broader form of Columnar. Its growth habit is intermediate between the extremely narrow Columnar and the typically round headed Norway cultivars. It has proven to be a healthy tree and is ideal for use along wide streets and boulevards. |
